Facilitates a marketplace where legal residents of California can review options for and enroll in health insurance coverage. This program offers a marketplace where potential clients, and their family members, may get financial assistance to make coverage more affordable. They can compare and choose health coverage that meets their needs and budget. Also provides options for small business owners to provide health insurance coverage to their employees.
Under the Affordable Healthcare Act, health insurance coverage cannot be denied or canceled if resident is sick or has pre-existing health conditions.
Eligibility
For individuals and families visit webiste: www.coveredca.com or call for eligibility requirements.
Businesses with 50 or fewer full-time equivalent employees will be able to purchase health insurance.
Businesses with 25 or fewer full-time employees can learn about possible eligibility for tax credits.
