Provides monthly cash benefits to aged, blind, or disabled non-citizens who are ineligible for SSI/SSPsolely due to their immigration status.
Eligibility
-Be ineligible for SSI/SSP solely due to immigration status
-Be 65 years old or older, blind, or disabled
-Be a resident of California
-Meet certain income and resource requirements
-Be a non-citizen and meet the immigration status criteria
Application Process
Call or visit website to apply, A county eligibility worker will be assigned to your case, and you may be asked to provide additional information including (but not limited to) immigration documents, a rental agreement, and bank statements.
