Descriptions
Provides free breast and cervical cancer screening and diagnostic services to underserved populations in California. Services include mammograms, Pap tests, and HPV tests for eligible individuals. Breast cancer screening is available to eligible individuals aged 40 and older, while diagnostic services are offered to individuals of any age who show signs or symptoms of breast cancer. Cervical cancer screening and diagnostic services are available to eligible individuals aged 21 and older.

The Every Woman Counts program is California's Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program (CA-BCCEDP). EWC is administered by the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS). The mission of Every Woman Counts Program is to mitigate the devastating medical, emotional and financial effects of breast and cervical cancer and eliminate health disparities for medically underserved low-income individuals.
