Descriptions
Offers a deferred-payment junior loan of an amount up to 3 or 3.5% of the purchased or appraised value to assist with down payments and/or closing costs. Loans are offered through private loan officers who have been approved and trained under CALHFA.
Eligibility
First-time homebuyer that have completed homebuyer education counseling and obtain a certificate of completion through an eligible homebuyer counseling organization. Also must meet CalHFA income limits found here.
