Family Paid Leave (fpl)

Descriptions
Provides up to eight weeks of partial pay to employees who take time off from work to care for a seriously ill family member or to bond with a new child in the family (through birth, adoption, or foster care placement). Payments are about 60 to 70 percent of your weekly wages earned five to 18 months before your claim start date.

Eligibility
Must have earned at least $300 in wages that are subject to State Disability Insurance deductions (look for "CASDI" on your paystubs) during the 12-month base period of your claim.
