Descriptions
Provides locations for a parent or person with lawful custody to safely surrender a baby confidentially and without fear of prosecution within 72 hours of birth, with no questions asked.
Safe surrender sites are hospitals or fire stations, approved by the board of supervisors or fire agency in each county.
Eligibility
Infant must be surrendered within 72 hours of birth
