Youth Employment Program
Provided by CALIFORNIA CONSERVATION CORPS (CCC)
Descriptions
Provides one year employment and training opportunities for young adults. Participants perform a variety of public service conservation projects. This includes:
- Trail building
- Tree planting
- Parks development
- Hazard mitigation
- Food and fire emergency assistance
Both residential and non-residential programs are available statewide.
Eligibility
California resident between 18 to 25 years of age. Must not be on probation or parole and free of any convictions for a violent or felony drug crime. Drug test, physical exam, fingerprint, and background check required.
