Descriptions
Provides support with physical modifications to the member's home to avoid acute asthma episodes caused by environmental triggers like mold.
The services in this program may include:
-Small home repairs (ex. pest management, patching holes, minor mold removal, ventilation improvements, etc.)
-Access to allergen proof bedding
-Use of high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters and vacuums
-Access to asthma-friendly cleaning products
-De-humidifiers
-Cost effective interventions as needed
Asthma remediations are payable up to a total lifetime maximum of $7,500.
Eligibility
Must be enrolled in Medi-Cal with CenCal Health Plan
