Descriptions

A County Program provides temporary cash help to very low-income adults. The program works like a short-term loan, and recipients are expected to repay the county. Payments can be made from workers' compensation or SSI/SSP. Participating in the CalFresh Employment and Training (CFET) program can help reduce the amount you owe back.

Eligibility

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be unemployed and in need of financial assistance.
