Descriptions
Provides free grocery and pharmaceutical deliveries for homebound seniors and disabled individuals. Offers free delivery by volunteers, but individuals must pay for groceries and pharmaceuticals.
How it works:
- Request: Participants submit a grocery list or errand request, and specify their preferred payment method.
- Coordination: Staff matches the request with a volunteer, ensuring all details are communicated clearly.
- Confirmation: Staff confirms the delivery plan with both the participant and the volunteer before the errand is completed.
Eligibility
-Must be over 62 years of age or older, or disabled and over 18
-Must be able to access groceries/prescriptions left on front porch
-Must be able to pay for groceries
-Must have a physical address with a front door
Application Process
Call for intake or fill out "Request for Services Form" on website.
Documents
Signed waiver included with client intake form.
Fees
No delivery fee. Individual must pay for their own groceries/pharmaceuticals.
