Provides affordable rental housing for seniors. There are both subsidized and non-subsidized housing options:
Subsidized Senior Housing: Offers Section 8 Project-Based Voucher housing units for seniors 62 years of age and older. All units are located within the City of Santa Barbara and unit size is one bedroom.
Non-Subsidized Senior Housing Offers rental units for seniors 62 years of age and older. Units are one-bedroom units and occupancy is limited to 2 person households and some properties may have vehicle restrictions.
Eligibility
Subsidized Senior Housing: Must be a senior 62 years of age or older and meet income limits.
Non-Subsidized Senior Housing: Must be a senior 62 years of age or older and meet income limits.
Application Process
Visit website to apply. If client does not have internet access, they may visit in person to access computer and internet.

Fees
No fee to apply for housing. -Non-Subsidized Senior: rent amounts vary depending on the property/unit offered and is also based upon household income. -Subsidized Senior Housing: Participants pay a portion of their income toward rent which is based upon 30% of the household's adjusted annual income.
