Provides Patient Rights Advocates:
-
Protect the rights of those receiving mental health services with Behavioral Wellness. As well as their contracted providers.

Make sure all consumers are notified of their rights while receiving services.

Education and representation in hearings for those hospitalized in an inpatient psychiatric facility.

Investigate concerns and complaints about mental health services and work to resolve them.
-
Assist Alcohol and Other Drug and mental health consumers with beneficiary rights processes. Such as a grievance or an appeal.
-
Paperwork and support for recipients who would like to complete an Advance Directive.
