Descriptions
Provides driving under the influence (DUI) program for first-time offenders. Objectives of the program are to:

Provide education to each participant by providing factual and accurate information about chemical dependency. The effects of alcohol and other drugs on the individual, the family and the community.

Encourage and motivate each participant to check and understand the need and accept the responsibility for their individual decision about the continued use and/or abuse of alcohol and/or other drugs.

Provide support and models that can help each participant make permanent lifestyle changes. That help prevent further alcohol or drug-related problems in any capacity.
Eligibility
Must be a first-time DUI offender in the past 10 years
Must be over the age of 18
The mandatory 30-day suspension period must have elapsed
Driver's license must not be suspended or revoked for any other reason
