Descriptions
Offers tutoring and peer advising for students to prepare them for post-secondary education. College students from UCSB, SBCC, and Westmont College each serve as tutor peer advisors. Tutors work in the classroom alongside the teacher and become added educators, motivating students to excel. Also provides information to students about attending college. Services are offered remotely.
Eligibility
Must be a secondary school student and
Must be low-income, or be first in family to attend college or be from a school/region with documented low-eligibility/college going rates.
