Descriptions
Provides tools and resources to help people with disabilities to live independently. Assists clients with applying, locating, and obtaining affordable and accessible housing. Connects clients to the personal help that they need. Help includes such as cleaning, cooking, and bathing. Services includes:
- American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation
- Peer support
- Assistive technology
- Advocacy
- Youth Transition to independence program
- Older Individuals who are Blind (OIB) program
Eligibility
Support services open to all individuals with disabilities.
For Youth Transition program, must be between the ages of 14-29.
For Older Individuals who are Blind (OIB) program, must be an individuals 55 years of age or older who has experienced vision loss or blindness, emergency preparation and disaster response, assistance in planning for and responding to PSPS events, et.
