Descriptions
Provides a self-help legal center staffed by a legal aid attorney. Assists in completing legal/court documents for various civil matters and infractions. Prepares client to present case to the court. Available for individuals needing assistance in the following areas:
- General civil
- Small claims court
- Unlawful detainer
- Guardianship
- Adoption
- Domestic violence restraining orders
- Civil anti-harassment restraining orders
- Landlord/tenant disputes
- Collections
- Name changes
Eligibility
Open to all individual who do NOT have an attorney representing their case.
Application Process
Visit during program hours. Services provided on a first come, first served basis
Documents
Varies, depends on case. Bring all paperwork for case needing assistance.
Fees
No fee; $10 donation requested
