Descriptions
Provides legal representation in all courts, administrative law and public benefits hearings. Legal assistance is provided in civil matters to low-income people and senior citizens in the following areas of law:
- Elder Abuse
- Domestic Violence
- Consumer Protection
- Landlord/Tenant Rights
- Unlawful Detainer (Eviction)
- Foreclosure Prevention for Homeowners
- Guardianship & Conservatorship (of the person only)
- Immigration Assistance for Victims of Crimes (U-Visa)
Eligibility
Must be a low-income individual or family, individuals with disabilities, seniors age 60 and over, and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, elder abuse, trafficking, or other abuse who reside in Santa Barbara County
(priority is given to those with incomes at 200% of the FPL and below)

Call to make an appointment or visit during program hours

-Proof of income (tax returns, letters from Social Security, pay stubs) -Photo I.D.
