Descriptions
Provides classes and education services to individuals who are blind or low vision. Helps individuals manage everyday tasks including personal care, shopping, etc. Other Services include:
- Counseling
- Offers a store of adaptive items and a library of talking books
- Classes in daily living skills, braille instruction
- Vision loss support groups and discussion groups also offered
- Virtual classes
Also offers workshops and events. For more information visit the Santa Barbara Center.
Eligibility
Must be blind or dealing with vision loss.
Application Process
Must have physician fill out the medical referral form found on the website. Call for further assistance
