Descriptions
Provides classes and education services to individuals who are blind. As well to who's dealing with vision loss. Provides the following services:
- Counseling
- Consultation with magnification devices
- Offers a store of adaptive items and a library of talking books
- Classes in daily living skills, braille instruction
- Orientation, mobility, and home management
- Computer training, leisure activities and creative arts
- Youth program for children ages six to eighteen and their families
- Vision loss support groups and discussion groups also offered
- Volunteer opportunities always available
Eligibility
Must be blind or dealing with vision loss.
Application Process
Must have physician fill out the medical referral form found on the website. Call for further assistance
