Descriptions
Provides a financial assistance loan for individuals who are indigent by reason of their inability to be employed. Individuals must also not be eligible for or receiving other public assistance.
Recipients who are considered to be employable must actively seek employment so they can become self sufficient. Individuals must participate in a county work project performing general labor to repay loan.
Eligibility
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be unemployed and in need of financial assistance.
Application Process
Must apply in person at one of the main offices in Santa Barbara, Santa Maria, or Lompoc.
