Descriptions
Provides a supplemental program that helps low-income people buy the food they need. Benefits are provided on an electronic card, called Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card. Can be used like a debit card and is accepted at most grocery stores. including the Santa Barbara Farmer's Market.
If person in need is homeless or has little or no income, they may request expedited (fast) service.
Eligibility
Households must have gross income below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines (FPG) and net income (after certain deductions) below 100% of FPG and must be a citizen or legal resident

Visit website to submit an application or visit one of the three main offices.
