Provided by COUNCIL ON ALCOHOLISM AND DRUG ABUSE (CADA)

Descriptions

Provides youth offenders the opportunity to take responsibility for their actions while avoiding a juvenile record. Mandatory components of a Teen Court sentence include:

  • Jury Duty
  • Community Service
  • Educational Classes and Counseling

Teen Court also offers educational services to the community and schools.

Eligibility

Must be a youth 10-18 years old who are referred by school or law enforcement facing first-time misdemeanors and school code violations
