Family Strengthening Program

Descriptions

Offers long-term transitional housing for eligible mothers. Offers a residential program in a sober living environment. Provides the following:

  • Case management
  • Individual therapy
  • Parenting education
  • Child development program for the children

Eligibility

Must be a single mother 18 years old and low income

no more than two children age five or younger or pregnant with her first or second child

Must have at least 50% custody of children

No alcohol or drug use permitted.

Must obtain or maintain employment; may attend school additionally.

$385/month for a mother with one child $420/month for a mother with two children
